Lock & Key By: Sarah Dessen

    I will admit, I've been avoiding reading this author for a while. I always saw the popular girls at my school reading them and thought they were like teenage harliquin. Cliche and cheesy.

   I was totally and completely wrong.

   This book captured my heart from the first page. I could feel the emotions leaping off the page; anger, sadness, frustration. It all flew at me in a whirlwind. And I quite enjoyed it! 

    This book is something of a treasure. It has overcoming fears and love and acceptance. This books main character (Ruby) was so well developed. I think this book has some of the most well written character devolent I've ever read. 

    My only probelm is that I was left with so many questions at the end of the book. Did Ruby and Nate get back together? Did Ruby decide to stay with Cora and Jamie? These unanswered questions bothered me. But other than that the book was marvellous!

Falling Under By: Gwen Hayes

    This book started out as if I were in a dream. Things that didn't make sense flowed together to create a sort of dream-like nightmare.

Gwen Hayes wrote a book that is the only one of its kind. It was dark, deceptive, and delicious. I couldn't put it down for a second. 

This book had some of the best character and plot development I've ever read. Theia goes from a meek mouse to a courageous lioness in such a short amount of time it was as if no time had passed at all. Usually when I read a book I can usually predict what is going to happen with immense accuracy. But with Fallong Under I could never see the road ahead.

I highly recommend this book. Everyone will love it!!

Angel in Training By: C. L. Coffey

    This is one of the most intense books I've ever read. The plot line is fantastic and I didn't find any plot holes at all!! Angel is my absolute favorite heroine I've ever encountered. She is fierce, kind, and a bit quirky. I fell in love with this book at page one. I fell into this book like the angels fell from heaven. It was chaotic and beautiful and perfect. I hate C. L. Coffey just a little bit for ending it so abruptly. I didn't want the book to end! 

I recommend this to EVERYONE EVER.

Stolen By: Lucy Christopher

    This book was like walking through a really deep mucky puddle. You started walking in it only to realize too late that the mud was thick and hard to get through. But you still have to finish walking through the puddle.

    This book started out interesting. It's the first book I've read that is told in second person. The plot sounded interesting so I, being naive, picked up the book and though "why not?"

    This book was really heavy and I wanted to drop it half way through. There were parts that confused me. At first I though Anna was her sister but she turned out to be her best friend. This throughly confused me. 

   The psychology in the book made sense. The main character really did seem to have Stockholm syndrome. The sudden change made sense character wise. But that seemed to be the only thing that made any sense. 

    This book was, okay. I'm not going to say I love it because I didn't. But I also didn't hate it. This book is well written, the content and blending of the plot twists just needed some more work.

Beautiful Redemption By: Jamie McGuire

    If I had to compare this book to anything, it would be the tornado in The Wizard Of Oz. It starts off crazy! Everything is spinning out of control and it throwing your emotions every which way. Then, suddenly you are dropped into this weird and wonderful world of love and anguish.

    This book is my favorite (so far) in the Maddox Brothers series. The character development is phenomenal, and the plot makes you want to climb into the world of Liis Lindy and never leave! The plot twists are perfectly executed and I got this gushy feeling inside when I read the book.

100% recommended!! 

Save Me By: Jenny Elliott

    This book is amazing!! I've always loved books that took place in small towns but this one made me want to live in one!! The setting was perfect and so well described I could draw you a map of everywhere Cara went.

    The conflict was wonderful, but sometimes it was exhausting. At one point there were 3 conflicts all at once and the book was jumping back and forth between them. But they all meshed together well and foreshadowed the book perfectly. 

    Absolutely WONDERFUL!! I suggest that you get a hold of it as soon as it's available for purchase!!

“Tell me more about this dream,” Glory said as she sat across from Serenity in one of the booths at the fire pit. She had called early that morning, demanding to have breakfast because she wanted to know more about the whole Sandman thing. Serenity hadn’t meant to spill the beans, but her mind had been dwelling on it so much that it had just come pouring out of her. And she probably needed to talk with someone about it other than an eight-year-old girl who was actually in the dream. So she had forced herself from the warmth of her bed and met Glory before time for school. The only bonus was that she got an awesome breakfast out of the deal.

“I already told you the entire thing the other night,” Serenity said. “I think I dreamed it because even though I want to leave this little town, I’m also scared to venture out into the wide world, and I must subconsciously be trying to find an excuse to stay.”

“What about this Dair character? What’s he all about?” Glory asked, ignoring what she had just said.

Serenity rolled her eyes and set her fork down on her plate. It was obvious that Glory wasn’t going to give up. “The girl, Emma, said he is the basis of the myth about the Sandman,” Serenity explained again to Glory everything the girl had said about Dair.

“He sounds mysterious,” her best friend crooned.

“Give me a break, Glory. For all we know he’s a short, fat, bald man like in the movie The Rise of the Guardians.”

Glory shook her head. “No, I’m not getting that vibe from your story. This guy sounds powerful in an I’m so hot I scorch the ground when I walk sort-of way.”

Serenity choked on the drink of orange juice she had been taking. “Sometimes, you really worry me, Glory Day.”

“You’re the one having dreams supposedly sent by a mythical being that have to be explained to you by an eight year old genius.”

“Good point,” Serenity conceded
